Healthy diabetes recipes for the whole family to enjoy!


  • This diabetes recipe should not be overcooked or the venison steaks will become tough.

Grilled Venison Steaks (Serves 4)

Ingredients

  • 125 ml Italian salad dressing
  • 125 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp spicy mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 venison steaks, 1 cm thick

Preparation

  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients and blend well.  Place the steaks and the marinade in a resealable plastic bag, seal and turn to coat.  Marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
     
  2. Grill the venison over high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, just enough to leave some pink in the center.
