Healthy diabetes recipes for the whole family to enjoy!


  • This diabetes recipe makes a healthy and refreshing juice drink to "wake" you up in the morning.

Red Ruby Juice (Serves 4)

IngredientsDiabetes Recipe

  • 900 ml tomato juice
  • 3-4 drops Tabasco
  • 150 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed

To Garnish

  • ice cubes
  • 4 orange rind twists
  • 4 small celery sticks

Preparation

  1. Mix the tomato juice and Tabasco together together.  Add the orange juice and stir well to blend.
     
  2. Pour into 4 small tumblers.  Add ice cubes, garnish with orange twists and place a celery stick in each glass.  Serve immediately.
